get your 360 coin operated

Ironically, the Xbox 360 arcade is the least expensive version of 360, and the new Arcade Station T2 has to be the most expensive. It also belongs in an arcade because it’s essentially an arcade cabinet with a 360 in it. The Arcade Station T2 features two controllers, memory card slots and system link gaming (which I’d assuming means local multiplayer, not full LIVE access). Rumored bundled games are Halo 3, FIFA 08, Assassins Creed and Devil May Cry 4.

But fear not, you won’t have to pump in quarters everytime Master Chief gets killed because the T2 will be a pay-for-time unit.

It’s currently in testing overseas and the officially licensed cabinet should be available in the coming months. Guaranteed the WorldGaming office gets one and I’ll be sure to post pics when we do!

If your squeamish, you shouldnt watch this. Some of these are just nasty to see and give you a weird sick feeling in your stomach. It always amazes me how human body can twist and bend in ways they shouldn’t.

If your eye sight works properly (and you’d only need one eye in this instance) odds are that you’ve dreamed about what it would be like to drive a Ferrari. I always dreamed of what it would be like to own one to see how much it got me laid.

Anyways, most will never get the chance. The closest we’d get to driving one is from playing Ferrari Challenge which is coming out soon.

The trailer above shows off some of the more interesting aspects of the game, including the weather effects. At the end of the vid it also promises additional content. System 3 even decided to put it all on the line and guarantee 5 extra cars and 1 extra track per month, every month after the game’s release. That’s a pretty impressive claim, considering that the game already ships with 16 tracks. That means that in a year, the game will have nearly double the tracks it does presently. I’m down to try it out and live vicariously.

If you are impulsive and/or crazy enough to drop over $100,000 on a whim for a nerdy automobile, here’s your chance to score one of the five Batmobiles made for the original Michael Keaton movie. Unfortunately, you only have until 5PM PDT today to put in a bid on this gem.

Where’s my wallet again?!?!?!

Dudes who are really into racing games are really into racing games. Case in point, this $15,000 Gran Turismo Prologue Pod. Why the hell you’d want to drop 15K on this I have no idea but i respect the integrated PS3, 40″ screen, surround sound, racing seat, Logitech G25 wheel (which includes those fancy pedals) and stylish Plexiglas window.

It just sucks that the full version of Gran Turismo 5 isn’t actually, you know, out yet. Thus making this ubercabinet the world’s most advanced demo kiosk. Congratulations.

the sex fest in Beijing

Posted in: Sports, No Comments »

sports

One of the first things I think about when the Olympics come around is how much sex is going down at these things? All these superior and good looking athletes (including my girl Leryn Franco) are walking around half naked most of the time so it’s only natural that they’re going to be attracted to each other. And it’s not like they’re going to be intimidated to talk to one another, they already have an easy ice breaker being from different countries and sharing the fact that they’re one of the best in the world at what they do.

So to give us insight into the freak fests that go down in Olympic Villages, former Olympian Matthew Syed, who now works as a commentator, wrote for the Times of London, “This sex fest … [happened] right here in Beijing. Olympic athletes have to display an unnatural … level of self-discipline in the build-up to big competitions. How else is this going to manifest itself than with a volcanic release of pent-up hedonism?”

Syed said that winners “as geeky as Michael Phelps” were wanted by tons of female athletes, but that even the losers get some lovin.

Matthew says he “got laid more often in those two and a half weeks (at the Barcelona games in ‘92) than the rest of my life up to that point.”

And this guy played table tennis!!!

When are video games going to become an Olympic sport?!?!?!?
