Kinda like the LED strobes that enable the fine-tuning of turntable rotation speeds, this DIY “Acid Machine” has a bad ass way of visualizing its sound: A rotating disc printed with a special pattern that isolates a thin radial disc depending on the frequency of a strobing LED that corresponds to the note played.
I’ll be honest, I really don’t know what that means but it’s what I could gather from showing this site to a freind of mine who speaks nerd tech.
Just watch the video below and then it’ll make a helluva lot more sense. Now where are those damn sugar cubes?!?!?!?
