Since my boy Tiger Woods is back on the PGA tour today, a lot of tour pros are not only shaking in their ugly golf pants but they’re longing for the good ‘ol days of the last 8 months when they had a chance.

Now, their only chance and prayer is that Tiger’s new bionic leg will fall off. But I’m going to go out on a limb and say he’ll be fine. I mean, he’s playing some bum in the first round.

All the good sun is gone for these guys!!

Nike is literally trying to make shoes sexier with this new viral vid featuring LeBron’s new shoes, The Six. They go to the well one more time with the multiple-personality campaign and I can’t say it’s a bad move…the other ones were hilarious. 

Playing his Smooth LeBron character (would have been so much funnier with the old man LeBron) he seduces the lead singer from the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger. For the life of me I don’t know what everyone sees in this girl. Her music and group sucks (quick…name 2 songs) and she’s not even that hot. If you ask me, she looks like a poor womans Kim Kardashian.

Anyways, I was pretty dissapointed in this commercial. I’ve come to expect more form these LeBron spots. I think it’s too long and not even that funny. That said, when says “You got me smilin’. I don’t smile. Got me changin’ my expression. I don’t express.”  it’s pretty funny.

UXB’s commercial for Cleatskins is great. Cleatskins convert old cleats into street shoes which is pretty cool but the commercial is what I like. Granted, the lighting, design and direction plays perfectly into the macho and cliche jock-ads. And the wanna be Nike soundtrack really seals the deal.

But when that stud goes crashing to the floor, nerds everywhere laugh like only a vindictive, wedgied kid who still holds a grudge from high school would.

I love Tiger just like everybody else but out of all the video games out there, Tiger Woods Golf is one of my top 3 favorites. Probably because I’m so good. If I wasn’t I’d probably hate it like real golf which I suck at. Anyways, last year some guy put a video up on Youtube which he called the “Jesus Glitch” from Tiger Woods 08. It’s pretty interesting and kinda cool.

But EA Sports has responded with a new promotional video for Tiger Woods 09. There have been a ton of cool Tiger videos from Nike and Gatorade, but this one is right up there with them. Peep it!!!!!
