In today’s Change.gov YouTube video, President-Elect Obama sounded off on a few tech ideas that have, frankly, been a long time coming. He notes that the States ranks 15th in the world in broadband adoption, and lays out his plan to bring networking to all public domains.

I heard this a direct endorsement of WorldGaming and the fact that he wants people to play more video games for money.

Usually, Obama tosses in a mention or two about how important technology is, but today, we really see what he plans to do. He pledges to have broadband internet access available to all Americans, and promises to bring networked access to every doctor’s office, public school, and hospital. Part of Obama’s economic recovery plan will go directly to modernizing public hospitals, first and foremost to digitize all medical records.

Of course, all that is nice but pales in comparison to the plan to have every online gamer playing on WorldGaming.

Sure, he leave out certain important concepts, most importantly how he’s going to pay for all this, and I’m unclear on how exactly he plans to force ISPs into reaching into parts of the country where they can’t turn a profit. But whatever, this only can be a good thing for us!

A new study on the “Happiness Index” polled 8,500 Australians aged 18-64, and in a shock that comes to nobody…they found out that men are happiest when they’re on the internet. Could be because porn rules every mans mind, but that’s just a guess. Of course, what makes women happy is spending quality time with the fam. I can’t see how the discrepancy could cause any relationship problems.

I could retire if I had a dollar for everytime a woman said to a man, “Why are you watching XXX movies online when you have me?”

What’s even sadder is that exercise is what made people the most unhappy from either gender. What a fat and lazy world we’re becoming. Men also were happier when ”being intimate with another person” than women are. Really, men are hornier than women? Women were more likely to find happiness in pets. And everyone likes relaxing.
