The good folks over at IGN posted this video a few days ago previewing the new dash on the 360 and it looks awesome! I know everyone is excited about the new Facebook and Twitter features and they should be amazing!

Enjoy the sneak peak until you get the real thing!

street light bug noise

Posted in: Entertainment, No Comments »

entertainment

I’m always fascinated when people create cool stuff like this which more or less looks like magic to me. However in reality it’s really just a series of long exposures of bugs flying under a street light. The guy who created it is Nick Bilton and you can check out his website here.

Somehow this captivates me so I figured I’d pass it along to you.

PS…I’m on acid!!!!!

facebook-twitter

I don’t use Facebook, I’m not that cool of a guy. But I do Twitter at the demand of Levy so he can always know what I’m doing, as if we don’t spend enough time together all day at work then go home to where we live in the same building. So for me and my tweets and for you and all your social networking junkies who NEED TO and HAVE TO use Facebook or Twitter on every screen possible to dumb your life and mind down…Microsoft announced today at E3 that Facebook and Twitter integration will be arriving on Xbox Live this fall.

I can just see all the Facebook hypes now rejoicing and with good reason, this actually looks really cool.

It appears that Facebook will look fairly similar to the typical Xbox Experience interface, with individual sidescrolling windows. It’ll also support Facebook Connect, which will let you upload in-game screenshots to your Facebook profile in real-time.

The reason why I’m the last person in the world not to have a Facebook account is because I have a lot of friends that I keep in touch with and only need a phone or skype to do it. The way I look at it is, if we’re not friends anymore from back in the day, there’s probably a reason for that. I have no desire to know what some dude from my freshman year math class is doing with his life, so I don’t have an account.

Plus, I don’t want all my love slaves stalking me!

But if I can put up in-game screenshots of me dominating bums for money on http://www.worldgaming.com/  in head-to-head competitions for cash and Xbox 360 and PS3 online tournaments for money then I’ll gladly make an account.

jennifer-aniston_john-mayer

Normally this story would be totally irrelevant to me and it’s probably not even true but it involves Twitter so I had to post it after what I went through this weekend. Levy made me sign up for Twitter this past weekend because he did so he wouldn’t stop talking about it and hounding me to do it. I was basically held in friendship ransom, as he wouldn’t talk about anything else until I signed up, so I did to shut him the hell up!

Then I read this today and had to pass it along…

“This heart didn’t come with instructions,” is what my boy John Mayer Twittered after Jennifer Aniston supposedly dumped him over the phone.

Reason being? He twittered too much. I’m telling you and have told everyone for years…John Mayer is the man!!

Guy didn’t have time to call, text or write her and just told her “I’ve been so busy with work” when Aniston called him up. Essentially saying “Listen, if you want to know what I’m doing, check out my Twitter page!”

What a guy! If this is true (and I’m not saying it is) then maybe the fact that he’s now single will give him more time to bang out Tweets from his BlackBerry and hang out with smokin hot chicks!
