I’m always fascinated when people create cool stuff like this which more or less looks like magic to me. However in reality it’s really just a series of long exposures of bugs flying under a street light. The guy who created it is Nick Bilton and you can check out his website here.

I remember when I was 16 and worked at Marshalls and they made me watch a work safety video. I thought it was the lamest video I had ever seen (aside from traffic safety videos which are the KING of cheesy videos).

Then I cam across this one and this just takes the cake.

This is a quality work place safety video was made with the attempt to scare people into paying more attention to the dangers of the work place. I especially like the nail in the eye or the mannequin stunt double falling on a spike. Because you often have these type of things happening!! One of my WorldGaming blog disciples emailed me this video and entitled it “cool baseball bat trick” so i was interigued. I love baseball, it my favorite sport and I played it my whole life growing up.

Never in a million years could I do something like this. I dig this guy, he’s got crazy skills. I just wonder if he can hit the high inside fast ball?!?!

I guess since this is considered “advanced” there is a normal level of cat yodeling which just blows my mind, but shouldn’t considering all the dumb and pointless stuff we have in the world.

I hate cats. They’re pointless, annoying, shedding creates that I’m allergic to. If you’re a annoying cat owner looking for a new way to bond with your furry friend and the harness you bought for walks in the park didn’t work out the way you had hope, maybe a little cat yodeling is for you.

Riding the new Peak2Peak Gondola that connects Whistler’s Blackcomb and Whistler Mountain summits, over 2.7 miles, must be exhilarating. But jumping off it is just insane.

Shortly after opening, these Two Red Bull sponsored lunatics rode a car to the mid point of the ride and jumped. That makes for a good preview of the fall, should one of these boxes full of 28 people ever fall out of the sky.

The Gondola itself holds records for its unsupported span of 1.88 miles between the two furthest towers, and for its rise, measuring over a quarter mile above the ground at its highest point.

At 16 miles per hour, it makes the traverse between the mountain tops, in 11 minutes. Contrast that with the usual ski down one peak, plus a drive to the base of the other (should you choose not to jump off it), plus a number of gondola, chair and tow rides upward, which easily could take over an hour or three.

For the record, this is my next winter vacation!

If your eye sight works properly (and you’d only need one eye in this instance) odds are that you’ve dreamed about what it would be like to drive a Ferrari. I always dreamed of what it would be like to own one to see how much it got me laid.

Anyways, most will never get the chance. The closest we’d get to driving one is from playing Ferrari Challenge which is coming out soon.

The trailer above shows off some of the more interesting aspects of the game, including the weather effects. At the end of the vid it also promises additional content. System 3 even decided to put it all on the line and guarantee 5 extra cars and 1 extra track per month, every month after the game’s release. That’s a pretty impressive claim, considering that the game already ships with 16 tracks. That means that in a year, the game will have nearly double the tracks it does presently. I’m down to try it out and live vicariously.
